Should I add temporary positions to my cv?

It’s not uncommon, given today’s uncertain job market, that candidates often find themselves with one or more temporary assignments under their belts while they hope for a more permanent job.
If you are in this boat, don’t discount your temporary work history as something that cannot be included on your cv. In fact, recruiters prefer to see ALL the work that you have performed as an indication of the full range of skills and abilities you have.
Why Temp Work Belongs On Your Resume Put yourself in a potential employers shoes. For example you were retrenched in June 2015, you start a 6 month contract in August 2016 (but this is not on your cv). You send your cv to a potential employer in January 2016. The potential employer sees that you last worked in June 2015. By leaving temp jobs off your cv you also create gaps that could cost you an interview.
