Morning meetings, meetings in the local pub and huge boardroom meetings, they can all be daunting at times. Monday morning meetings are often the worst when you can often feel tired and unprepared.
That feeling you get during a meeting is one we all experience and you are not alone. The meeting just never seems to end and you hope and pray that you do not have to give your opinion on any topics, to avoid embarrassment or nervously stuttering in front of everyone else that you work with.
So, here are the 12 things we all think during a meeting…did someone say something?
1. NO WORK FOR THIS WHOLE HOUR…WINNING! Sitting and pretending to listen is basically having an hour off.
2. I HAVE NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE Dear god please do not make him look at me.
3. LOOK ENTHUSIASTIC. Look like you care
4. WHAT IS GOING ON? I don’t even know why this meeting was called.
5. IS THERE FREE FOOD? I need snack motivation people
6. ‘YES I AGREE, I ABSOLUTELY AGREE.’ What did she even just ask me? SMILE AND NOD.
7. WHEN WILL THIS END? Enough! Enough!
8. TEACHER’S PET ALERT. Why don’t you just bring an apple Hermione?
9. SHOULD I BE TAKING NOTES? I have no pen.
10. I WOULD RATHER JUST TAKE MENTAL NOTES. Mental snapshots currently in progress no one worry.
11. I AM NOT LISTENING. Nope…nothing.
12. ‘SEE YOU ALL ON MONDAY’. What even just happened?
